Cutting Capacities:
- Length = 48 inches total, with 9 inches of overhang
Depth depends on the blade diameter in use.
The adapter plate and track will remove 3/4 of an inch from your overall depth of cut (DOC).
With an average 6-1/2 inch bladed saw your DOC is 1-1/8 inches
- 7-1/4 blade = 1-1/2 inch material
- 8-1/4 blade = 2 inch material
- 10-1/4 blade = 3 inch material
The Universal Saw Adapter Plate comes in two sizes. The standard size is appropriate for any circular saw with a 6-1/2 inch to an 8-1/4 inch diameter blade. The larger saw adapter plate is designed for the 10-1/4 inch diameter saws.
The TrueTrac 4ft Combo Kit Includes the following:

I bought this to make a cut on a butcher block counter top. It worked great for that but beats my table saw for sheet goods (I bought the extension kit later) and it was a real life saver when I had to make a notch in some wainscoting. The cut would be visible so it needed to be precise. Very pleased with the product and has made me a better contractor.
I've tried several circular saw track kits. The TruTrac system is the only one that I can say is a good replacement to a dedicated track saw. It's easy to use and very well made.
Have been really enjoying the ease of breaking down sheet goods.
Would it be possible to design a base that would fit a Ryobi skil saw. They have a very small base plate.
Other than that i love it.
Thanks Jacob.
First let me start by saying overall I love this tool. One thing that I would suggest to anyone looking at buying, get the clamps!! I have read and they say the clamps are not needed. However, the first thing I cut with it was an expensive butcher block counter top. I just about ruined it because it slid on me. Thankfully I bought the clamps. I readjusted, clamped and made the cut. From now on I always clamp the workpiece. It’s not worth risking an expense sheet of birch plywood, etc. Very simple to put together and use. I have two other friends in construction and they are ordering one as well. It is a very good alternative to the expensive track saw. Here is a picture of some closet built in I just finished. All cuts were with the TruTrac.

This system is compatible with virtually any style of circular saw.
The top surface of the Universal Saw Adapter Plate (SAP) is flat and you will be required to custom drill mounting hole locations in both the SAP and the OEM metal base plate of your circular saw. There are no saws manufactured that include predrilled holes that are useful in this scenario.
We provide a machined Set Up Block (SUB) which is used to gauge the distance from the outside edge of the SAP to the body of your saw blade. This ensures paralleism between your saw blade and arbor and the machined grooves on the underside of the SAP, as well as setting the proper spacing so that the blade trims the white Anti-Chip Strips along the edge of the track.
