Plenty of good

Purchased track system as I did not want to buy another power tool (trac saw). Quality of product is very good. Assembly was easy to adapt to my saw and it produces easy straight cuts. Inserts do tend to slide out of track a little easier than I would like but it is just part of the learning process. I used the trac primarily reworking my deck and cutting boards in place. No the that this will change your depth of cut for the saw. Still able to cut 1.5”. Good straight lines, Excellent instructions, easy ordering and Jacob is quick to answer any questions. Thank you.

Confidence in Cutting

I've always disliked using circular saws. The True Trac, however, has changed that, giving me the ability to make controlled and accurate cuts while reducing set-up time. I've been using the starter kit for the last couple of months to break down plywood and hardwoods. It also helped me to make precision bevel cuts on a furniture project and create straight edges for some jigs. Jacob provided great customer service when I was making a buying decision. For my purposes as a DYI-er and hobbyist woodworker, the True Trac was a good choice over buying a track saw.

Can't blame my tools anymore....

I finally got around to making my first few cuts with the Truetrac. Making some precision cuts on MDF to fit a custom table stand. After setting up the Truetrac my first cuts were perfect. As were the cuts after that. Stacked up, all the pieces were nicely square and even. This is a really effective piece of equipment. Good job guys.

professional grade in every way

I am highly impressed. Everything about TrueTrac has been a pleasure. The summary of my experience so far is that the company is friendly, responsive and professional and the product is a serious piece of quality engineering.

They make sure you get what you want and follow up to ensure everything is to satisfaction.
I was especially struck by their integrity. One trivial piece was missing from my order and I emailed them. The response from Jacob was fast and to immediately sort things. I later had a technical question, which was answered quickly and in a manner that was helpful. Furthermore, the product descriptions are accurate and honest. They say for instance that the dust collector will help but not remove all the dust. My experience is that their estimate of its efficiency is pretty accurate.
One piece of advise - listen carefully to the video instructions. The safety procedures work and provide for a precise result. I did not follow it for one chipguard and had their predicted outcome. Also, if you have a 6.5 inch circular saw, watch the installation video to the end before setting up as there is helpful advise I wish I had listened to - my fault for rushing in, albeit I still ended up with a well set saw that cuts a perfect line.

well built

Works great at refining rough cut lumber into flat and usable boards.

Take caution on setup

The first time I used the true track, it wasn't straight. Seem you need to double check with a long straight edge to make sure the two pieces are straight. Just butting up the joint doesn't guarantee a straight edge cut.

Hi Larry!

It’s exceedingly rare to have any misalignment issues when joining our tracks. Id say less than 1:100 units have an issue and it’s easily solved. Take a trusted 90 degree square and see if the cross cut on the aluminum track itself is off on one of the tracks.

If it’s hard to tell an alternative method to check is to leave a business card gap between the tracks rather than butting them tightly together. If this provides an automatic straight joint with no fiddling, one of the faces is not exactly 90 degrees. If you can pin it down to an extrusion we’ll replace it for free!

If the two faces are pressed tightly together and both are not exactly 90 degrees then they will override the dovetail connectors and misalignment is the result.

Thank you for the honest feedback and I wish you would have reached out as soon as the issue came up so we could resolve it!

Excellent product

Have a lot of slabs to flatten and decided I needed a good way. Did a bunch of research and decided on the Truetrack system. Built the frame and mounted the rails and went to work. I was really surprised at how easy it was with beautiful results.

Fantastic system for transforming your circular saw!

After installing the saw base on my DeWalt circular saw (along with a new blade), I have primarily used my TrueTrac for small projects so far. In fact, it is getting much more use than I expected! The main reason I purchased it was to rip long boards cleanly to build skin on frame canoes. I was hoping it would give better results and be less dangerous than using the table saw. This has exceeded my expectations--each cut is perfect! I purchased the 12ft kit as well as an additional 2ft section of track, and this is now my go to saw when I need precision.

Thank you! Well worth every penny.

Love my TrueTrac!

Nothing to say. Exactly as advertised. Great customer service and follow up.
