Surely; one of the fundamental attributes of good sawing is the consistent alignment of the blade and the the material being sawn?
The beauty of these clamps is that they keep the track and the material being sawn, consistently aligned together, positively preventing all wobble.
Using a regular 7 1/4 " saw, I recently had to wet-saw a pile of (VERY hard) 3/4" porcelain slabs. I decided to saw the full thickness in three passes.
As I increased the depth of the saw blade for each pass, the position and orientation remained so consistent, that the finished cut looked like a one-pass factory finish. I was very pleased indeed, and could not ask for a better finish - and all due to these simple and very effective track clamps.
It is worth noting that you can clamp your track onto material that is about 2 1/2 wide; which means you can use up your small rippings and end up with very little waste.
Together with the no-splinter Adapter Base and the Zero clearance block, these clamps form an excellent system of quality-assured sawing. Easy and quick to operate, I could not recommend them too highly. I will also send photos of my simple but effective wet-saw setup. Phil
