The easiest way to flatten large slabs
Designed to be able to handle large area planing operations, the TrueTrac Router Gantry System allows you to take your 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 HP router with a 1 to 2 inch planing or spoilboard bit and easily flatten large projects for a much lower cost than stationary tools.
“I have used the mill for a 36x62 inch oak table top with great results.”
With the industry unique Threaded Cross-Feed upgrade you can pin your router down to a threaded rod that runs inside one of the bridge rails that create the width of the unit.
This allows you to accurately and repeatably control the width of your pass and make your cuts parallel to the grain of the lumber.
Have a gnarly piece with crazy grain patterns or a cookie? Consistent step-overs on each pass virtually eliminates tear out
“You Get What You Pay For - Excellent quality materials and construction. Heavy and solid and it’s clearly designed to last a lifetime or more.”
With your new Router Gantry System, you can reliably replace the functions of a traditional planer, jointer, and router table with a single tool, especially for large projects.
Setup or dismantling takes around 15 minutes total. The support table can be made in sections for easier storage, built against a wall and stored like a Murphy-style bed, or even lifted upwards to the ceiling when not in use via cables and a winch.
“Easy to assemble and I was very impressed with the quality of the machining."
The gantry system is not just a poor mans large planer of sorts. It can do things a planer cannot. I can rout in cross dovetails in the backs of slabs to stabilize them and cut flutes in columns for example. Flatten the top, flip the slab, flatten the bottom, rout in cross dovetails and install them while the slab is still clamped. I can cut dovetails right across voids and even flatten and join two slabs together dead on true.
I can also flatten very uneven stock how I want it to be cut not how it goes through the rollers. Take this off here and that off there to better line up the grain or other aspects.
Better and more adaptable than diy plywood setups.
The Router Gantry System makes it simple to batch process smaller projects too, not just single large ones.
With the precision and accuracy of the entire assembly, the RGS will drastically reduce your finish sanding by up to 80% too.
“...ready to conquer the 5ft wide 12+ft long slab we are going ro throw at it. Small/hometown build and all made in the USA... I will recommend to anyone that lays eyes on this rig!"

OMG; The Gantry System is a must have... I honestly wish i knew about the TrueTrac Gantry System years ago. I absolutely love it, and now use it a couple times a week. I'm not a person to leave reviews, but in this case i felt i needed too. The true Trac threaded gantry system is a must have, It saves me hours of time on every piece..... Thank you, and most sincere."
Was about 3 months after I ordered before I had time to put together. Realized I had to many of one part and not enough of another
No questions asked missing parts were delivered mounted on a Murphy type bench. Unbelievable how little of a learning curve there was hardest part being it was the 48 x 96 was getting it mounted square. Noticed after a little use wouldn't slide freely a quick wipe with some paste wax and moves unbelievably easy
The Router Gantry System that I purchased has met all my expectations! Would highly recommend this product. With this product it has made it possible to build a 12 ft table. Awesome Product.
This works great. About 95% less mess. Great product.
Just getting around to using the router gantry system.
I have a piece of pecan that I’m flattening for a table top.
I like how it works but I’m not getting cuts without lines showing. Is this normal or do you have any suggestions?
I don’t know my dust collector attached because I’m waiting on a couple of 45 degree connectors for the dust shroud rather than the straight ones that were included.
It works great for what I wanted to do
I bought this kit to be a little more portable on job sites, we do a lot of custom closets and pantries and rip and awful lot of plywood. One of my guys is a 40 year veteran carpenter and calls himself the human tablesaw, he said he wasn't using it. Now anytime we rip plywood it's the first thing he gets out. Setup was pretty simple on the skill saw, After that you could rip stacks of plywood in hours with laser straight efficiency. My guys are literally just walking down the side of the plywood with one hand on the saw and making perfect rips every time. I paid extra for the bag because I like to keep my tools clean and protected and away from dents and dings and scratches from being on the trucks, it has worked out perfectly I wish I had purchased this years ago. I will be buying more. Anyone that doesn't give this thing a 5 star rating clearly didn't know what they were doing to begin with and probably shouldn't own one anyhow.
Very pleased with the system! Great customer service, quick delivery and no damage in shipping. Ive been eyeballing this product for a couple of years and feel I really got my money’s worth.
So far I've made 3 Pecan countertops. They were too wide for my planer. Once I found the correct bit (2 3/8" CMT with carbide inserts) it worked perfectly. Minimal sanding. I sanded them with 40, 80, 120 and 220 and they were slick as glass and ready to spray.
TrueTrac exceeded my expectations. My system sat in the package for 6 months before I even assembled it. When putting everything together I noticed the one twisted rail that ended up being a faulty batch. The machining of one baseplate wasn't square to the face. They replaced those items at no charge and expedited shipping. She's running perfectly. I'll recommend TrueTrac to everybody in my line of work.
The True Trac products are top notch. We received ours within the timeframe relayed. It was complete and the quality of the product was apparent right away. Sturdy, well built and easy to set up. The ability to index the router on the slab enhances the final product.
Add to that the great customer service and advice from the folks at True Trac and it becomes an easy decision... Recommend Highly
Bear in mind, I only have the basic frame built and it’s HUGE. Despite that, I’m planning to set up one half for smaller slabs and the other half for thicker pieces since I have a few larger ones to work on. That being said, I have it together and aligned enough to do a test run and it worked beautifully. It slides smoothly even without grease and just make’s beautiful cuts. Not disappointed at all. Thanks Jacob!
With the collection system I lose a few inches of travel
Hi Jason, I just wanted to let you know that I set up my gantry system and it works very well. But I was wondering if you manufacturer an add on piece for the two cross rails that holds the route? I used it at its max limit of just over 2"s. but would like to do more thicker slabs. Do you produce any attachments to raise the router for that purpose.?
Have been really enjoying the ease of breaking down sheet goods.
Would it be possible to design a base that would fit a Ryobi skil saw. They have a very small base plate.
Other than that i love it.
Oh True Trac? Where have you been all my life? Quality product. Built very well. 1st project was a 42x96 black walnut table. 3.5 hp router with a 2 1/2" spoiler board bit
