  • This kit allows the addition of a threaded rod to an existing 82-1/2 inch long Router Gantry System Rail.

  • Effectively, this is a standalone threaded rod kit to create the indexing control on a 72 inch working area capacity "bridge" unit, created by joining a 55 in. and 27-1/2 in. RGS rail together.

  • Includes the threaded rod itself, two permanently sealed press-fit bearings, and two Acme-threaded nuts already spaced and installed on the rod.

Easily control the placement of your router across the width of a 72 inch wide capacity unit with this threaded rod kit.

  • This kit is meant for use within a 82-1/2 inch long Router Gantry System extruded rail assembly

    • 55 + 27-1/2 in. rails joined together

  • Bearings are press fit onto the rod and will fit within any RGS Bearing End Cap.

  • Spacing between the two Acme Nuts is 4-1/4 inches on center.

Materials Used

  • 1/2 - 10 Acme Threaded Rod, low carbon steel, RH thread pitch, roll formed by Keystone Threaded Products in Independence, OH
  • 1606-2RS sealed deep groove ball bearings, press fit onto each end of the Acme rod
  • Custom machined Acme nuts, with brass threaded inserts
  • Bakelite hand wheel
  • Knurled brass thumb screws for easy engagement

This kit includes the following:

  • One (1) 84-7/16 in. length Acme threaded rod
  • Two (2) 1606-2RS sealed ball bearings, installed
  • Two (2) Acme Nuts, installed
  • Two (2) Knurled brass thumb screws
  • One (1) Bakelite hand wheel
