The new padded spindle is a full 3 1/4" long giving you a minor extension for a smaller minimum clamping range. Your toggle clamps will now adjust from truly 0 to 1 inch rather than 3/8" to 1-inch.

The best feature is you simply slightly loosen the top knob with your finger and thumb and then rotate the padded spindle for the thickness you wish to clamp.

The top knob is ABS plastic with a threaded brass insert. The bottom retaining nut is machined steel. All proudly Made In America!

Then came a time when I needed to clamp it securely...The non-slip still works but I needed extra staying power. Should have gotten it sooner.

The tool free adaptor worked better than expected. The track with a Dewalt cordless saw worked a lot better than I expected too. Made cutting down 7 sheets of plywood a breeze and easier to handle on the table saw.
